We have amazing customers and we feel privileged to
partner with you.
Up and Running RV is the only place that will lay a finger on my RV Solar System. Chris offers an opportunity to understand your needs, associate you with the right set up and stay within your budget. He was transparent and upfront from the beginning. Honest people with a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommended.
MR - Solar Troubleshooting
First of all, WOW, what great people!
We had Up and Running RV install a Victron inverter and 800 watts of solar panels on our travel trailer.
Before the install we went over what we wanted and Chris, the owner, suggested a different way that would not sacrifice too much space in the front pass through and making everything easier to maintain.
Our two 300ah batteries were installed under our bed, at our request. Most of the rest of the equipment was installed in the front storage pass through.
After the install, we had a complete walk thru to show us how everything works. All the power shut offs were placed in convenient locations and everything was labeled. The painting of the wood needed to mount the Victron inverter in Victron Blue was also a nice finishing touch.
Up and Running RV did an incredible job with the tight space we had in our camper. We are very happy with the finished product.
Up and Running RV personnel were very easy to talk to and gave great suggestions for our solar system! We will definitely use them again for any and all of our solar needs!
ST, Solar Design & Installation
We had Chris come out to check our heating system in our new Grand Design 5th wheel. When the weather got cold, the heater wouldn’t keep the unit warm, no matter whether we had it set on gas or electric. Several morning we awoke to 40 degree temps inside the trailer. I had a mobile repairman come out who couldn’t come up with a solution. I contacted Chris who happened to be on vacation, but he told me he would contact us when he got back in town. As a man of his word, he did contact us and came out quickly. It only took him a few minutes to discover the problem and fix it. We had been dealing with this for 2 months, and since temps were expected to plummet into the teens over the next few days, it was imperative that we get the situation resolved. I can’t say enough good things about his professionalism and customer service. I’d give him ten stars if I could!
YP - Service Call
Since it isn’t possible to give 100-stars, I’ll have to settle for 5!
From the very first time I reached out to Chris (via a Google search), I could tell that he was extremely knowledgeable about all things electrical, trailers / RVs, solar power, air conditioners / thermostats and more, but it was his kind and generous demeanor that was even more impressive!
Chris went so far above and beyond before, during and after the complete build out of my converted cargo trailer (basically an empty box) into the final product, which you can see some pics attached! And the install dates turned out to be literally the hottest few days of the summer in Nashville, and we were working without AC during almost all of it…but that didn’t stop Chris one bit!
I feel very lucky to have found Chris and am now proud to call him a good friend after our experience together. His work has performed perfectly (even withstanding the harshest test at Burning Man 2023….maybe you heard about it on the news :P
Many, many thanks to both Chris and Julie, and if you’re reading this, I hope you are lucky enough to work with them on your project! :)
